Art for HOPE will be Thursday, August 26
at the Palm Valley Gardens. In addition
to a lovely evening of hors d'oeuvres, wine,
and music, Art for HOPE will feature works
from select artists as well as a juried art
exhibition. We are grateful for the continued
support and expert guidance of
Steller Gallery of Ponte Vedra,
which enables us to feature
prominent professional artists. Displayed
art will be for sale with proceeds supporting
kidney cancer research and early detection
programs at the Mayo Clinic Florida.

Dr. Alex Parker, a Mayo Clinic Florida
scientist, recently reported that these
funds were successfully utilized to support
two programs: 1) to evaluate the level of
awareness regarding the major risk factors
for kidney cancer, and 2) to explore new
biomarkers for kidney cancer
aggressiveness.
